  Meaning, that you can pick up from anywhere and learn a little piece at a time with a consistent layout for each topic.
  I HIGHLY recommend this book, not because it's easy, but it streamlines the information for you in a consistent manner. You can make a "class" or "course" based on one subsection at a time and do it consisitently, developing your skils. Because we ALL understand simple things get done and consistent actions produce the results in our lives.
  
  Much luck in your decision to purchase this book for yourself. ^__^
• I'm trying to read this book on kindle cloud reader, have it open in one screen while I code in another. The formatting is so bad that the book is unreadable.
• This book has helped me out a lot. I am new to python and pandas but this book has made things much clearer. Good explanations with example of codes. Author also explains how each part of the code works and reinforces material learned in previous chapters. Was intimidated by some of the chapters before i started reading once i got to those parts I was no longer worried if i would understand the subject matter.
• This is an excellent book if you want to learn pandas and if you want to understand pandas. It covers all cases, clearly explains what and why pandas do, and the chapters are organized really well and it depends on you if you just want to stay on surface or go deeper.
• On Cloud reader with Firefox (latest), after the first 170 pages, the formatting becomes narrower with each page. Eventually it shows one character per line in a single column. I'm sure , Firefox, and Packt will put the blame on each other. Packt also disallows downloading the book, so I can't try other options for viewing. Bottom line is I paid for something I can't read.
• After complete reading the book, I constantly use it for reference whenever I need. Very easy to search for the code snippets I need
• A self-regarding preface, if I may. This is my second attempt at reviewing "Pandas Cookbook". The first one was written in a dyspeptic mood - thank you, Unlimited free trial, for exposing me to the horrors of self-published rip-offs - did not put its emphases right, and was in one regard simply misleading. This prompted criticism from the book's author, supported by detailed objections, and led me to reconsider. I know that there will be a Version 3, already in December, as I will want to compare "Pandas Cookbook" and Daniel Chen's "Pandas for Everyone", which I expect to be both similar and good. I will leave speculation at that, and focus on the present.
  
  Before "Pandas Cookbook", I had seen five books about Pandas
  
  "Python for Data Analysis" by Wes McKinney, 2nd ed., 544 pages, 2017
  "Learning the Pandas Library" by Matt Harrison, 212 pages, 2016
  "Learning pandas" by Michael Heydt, 504 pages, Packt, 2015
  "Mastering pandas" by Femi Anthony, 364 pages, Packt, 2015
  "Python Data Analytics" by Fabio Nelli, 364 pages, Apress, 2015
  
  I can confidently say that (a) you don't need to consider books other than McKinney's and Petrou's, and (b) you want to see both, and possibly leave both, depending on your budget and personal preference.
  
  The one wrong suggestion in my original review was that PC was "far behind" PDA in terms of coverage. Having checked PDA, however, I realized that PDA did not have many things which I thought I learned from it, but in fact picked up from other sources - Pandas online doc, Stack Overflow, and, early on, Chris Albon's site. Surprisingly, the bread-and-butter "nunique" function, for example, is not in PDA, and neither is "filter" or "query". (I actually learned about "query" from "Pandas Cookbook"; my office Python environment predates Pandas 0.18.0). "Behind" is debatable - or moot you have bits in one book, and not the other, either way you look - and "far" is false. The upshot is that you can get a good handle on Pandas with either reference.
  
  The word "reference" fits PDA better - it has a methodical, clearly structured, but somewhat terse style, reminding me of O'Reilly's "Nutshell" series. PC, on the other hand, is pretty relaxed, and goes at a slower pace, with illustrations that are much more likely to stay with you than McKinney's, because (a) they use real datasets, as opposed to quick artificial ones, (b) often are part of a sequence of steps, providing context and identifying the use case. Packt's no-frills typesetting puts PC at a disadvantage, but it is not too bad.
  
  Comparing "Pandas Cookbook" to what was available before, I see and appreciate the qualitative change from (a) reductive digests of McKinney's book, to (b) something that builds on, and complements, McKinney's book. If Chen's book does the same, the Pandas newbie will get even more options. For now, kudos to Ted Petrou for an original and useful book.
• Very useful as an introduction for data manuipilation in python.

• If you'll be visiting Granada as an on-foot tourist, you're probably better off with a map that the city's tourist bureau or your hotel provides because
  
  First, the map's copyright date is 2007 which makes it not completely current.
  
  Second, when opened to its fullest, the map measures 44" by 29", which makes it quite unwieldy.
  
  Third, it's northeast-oriented, so that direct north is at the upper left hand corner instead of at the top.
  
  Fourth, although its ratio is 18.5 cm, that's still quite small, especially when one's eyes aren't what they used to be.
  
  Fifth, it covers an area from Parque Nueva Granada in the north to Parque Technologico de Ciensias in the south, and from Cementario de San Jose in the east to Poligono El Florio in the west, which is far more than any tourist needs..
  
  Sixth, although there are no insets for the Cathedral/Plaza Nueva or the Albaicin tourist areas, there is a 13.7 cm one covering the Alhambra/Generalife complex.
  
  Seventh, if, however, you're in Granada for any other reason than tourism and/or if you're driving into or out from town, this map might be beneficial.
• Not what a tourist wants, as most of its area is taken up showing roads in the vicinity of the extended suburbs of Granada. As a result, the downtown, Alhambra, Sacramonte, and old Moorish areas are shown in microprint. I blew up the central part on a color printer but other maps from local sources were what I used. Save your money.
• A good purchase.
• Michelin simply makes the best maps.
• The service from this vendor - Agapea.com - was amazing ! Shipped from Malaga Spain, the map arrived 9 days later altho the est. delivery time was well over a month. For my purposes the map is perfect, showing the streets of Granada. As I'm disabled, I "walk" those streets in my mind as I read about them. Wonderful Michelin Maps!

• Don’t know why people are putting one star because the book came damaged. These reviews are supposed to be about the book itself and let me tell you it is a masterpiece! I have fully delved into logic’s mind and I’m only halfway through. He is such a talented artist. Highly recommend this book to anyone! Fair warning, there is cussing if any children want to read it.
• Wow. This book is BAD.
  It might be one of the worst novels I’ve ever read.
  
  I was browsing through the bookstore looking to pick up a few new reads and grabbed this one. Sounded interesting. I have no clue who Logic is so I picked this one based solely on the synopsis written on the back of the book.
  
  I read the whole book pretty quickly, so it is an “easy read” and the issue isn’t necessarily with the basic idea behind the book, the issue is that the writing is HORRIBLE. It reads as though a 6th grader wrote it. I was cringing at almost every line throughout the entire book. I’d love to leave some examples but I’d have to just copy and paste the entire book here. Just trust me- it’s bad to the point of being embarrassing. I’m no literary snob either, I’ve read a LOT of books in my life and can appreciate a book that is easy to read (I prefer them!) but this is just ridiculous.
  
  The characters have no depth. You don’t care about or relate to any of them because all you know about them is they are “hot” or “sweet” or a “kind of dumb-looking like a bimbo who gets by on her looks- but she was intelligent. Just naive-seeming”. Yes, that’s an actual description from this book.
  
  And can someone who’s finished this please explain to me if we are supposed to have the “twist” to this train wreck figured out immediately?! Because this was all very predictable and it was almost laughable reading the author attempting to “hint” the twist.
  
  When I finished this and checked and see hundreds and hundreds of 5 star reviews the only thing I can assume is they are fans of his? I mean, I know everyone can have an opinion of a story but this book is just so terribly written that it doesn’t matter what the hell the story is. The writing is bad, and I don’t think that’s an opinion, it’s a fact!
  
  At least when you get to the acknowledgements it all does make a little more sense. The author basically says he never read a novel in his life, then “binge-read novels for a week” in his 20s and decided “I’m gonna write a book!”.
  Thank god for him he’s famous enough now for people to pacify whatever he randomly decides to do because that’s the only way this garbage would be published.
  
  P.s. I’ve ready hundreds of books and never in my life written a review of one.
  This was that bad.
• A few chapters in and it's amazing. I love Logic, but typically when artists start branching out the quality drops too so I wasn't expecting too much. With Supermarket I was really blown away with how well written it is and how drawn in I am. 5/5 MUST BUY
• Absolulty love it! I’m a die hard logic fan since close to day one, but I’ve been trying to read it without think about logic so I can have a real opinion, and I gotta say, I’m on chapter 9 and I love it. I hope Bobby keeps writing books, maybe a incredibly true story book!? 😂

That’s crazy. While I understand your frustration that your book came damaged, these things Happen with shipping from time to time. Supermarket is a great book and I enjoyed it, I recommend this product

"When reading Jordan's Pryde, I found that the author is very imaginative. She puts her words together carefully as if she is painting a portrait. Her words themselves draw the reader in and can easily pull them into the story as well. As a matter of fact as an ARC member I found myself unable to put the book down and was very sad when I got to the last page as the story came to its end. I hope to see a sequel soon and if this work of art is anything to go by then with the sequel we won't be disappointed. • This book feeds my hunger for supernatural love stories. The world the author created was complex and interesting, without being confusing. The author clearly put thought into the universe she created. I liked the characters, too. Jordan and Duncan easily kept my interest. Their flaws make them all the more believable. I enjoyed the soul mates theme, a favorite of mine. The kids were adorable and the minor characters were varied, likable, and interesting. This book does a great job setting up the following stories of the series without detracting from the story. I am excited for the rest of the series! I wish book two was out, I cannot wait for Ryland's story. He's one of my favorite characters; I want him to find his own happy ending. I hope Bronx gets a book, too!
• Jordan has his hands full when he interviews for this particular job. He has the skills and he knows what he wants right up until he meets the new boss. Now Duncan is a busy Alpha and he needs things to run smoothly for him after his loss and the way his life has been turned upside down. Together they have to find their way through all of the minefields and escalating problems that surround them. I love their dynamic even though it takes them a while to get to it. The surprise that awaits them when the truth of things comes out and the dangers of the past that rear their heads put everything to the test. I love the support of the friends and the close family that surround them and how everyone comes when things get dicey. It was an amazing book and I can't wait for more.
• This was an absolutely delightful read with many characters that I just loved. The two main characters were fleshed out well, and the two children were totally adorable. I do feel like the story could have been condensed into fewer pages, and still could have packed a punch. However the plot was still enjoyable with many twists, turns, and surprises. I usually do not enjoy human hunters in my shifter stories (I prefer paranormal threats), but luckily it didn't take over the story too much. By the end of the book this pack had definitely grown in size, which is awesome. I just might have to read the next book in the series to see what happened to Blayze. )
• When reading Jordan's Pryde, I found that the author is very imaginative. She puts her words together carefully as if she is painting a portrait. Her words themselves draw the reader in and can easily pull them into the story as well. As a matter of fact as an ARC member I found myself unable to put the book down and was very sad when I got to the last page as the story came to its end. I hope to see a sequel soon and if this work of art is anything to go by then with the sequel we won't be disappointed. It is one that I know I will love and continue to love even as I get old and gray.

• There were some editing errors in this book, not plentiful, but enough that it broke me out of the story several times. A couple of times I'm not entirely sure what it was supposed to say and I just skipped over it. This didn't have an impact on anything important to the story.
  
  Jordan was a very interesting character to me and I loved watching as he discovered the world that he rightfully belonged to. I'm also excited to read further into this world and see how all of the sects will come together to battle against Bergestrand and his war-mongering.
• Jordan applied for a job with Duncan Prude and got it, just not the position that he was seeking, but agreeing to do it to the best of his abilities. Which he did, the only problem he encountered was falling for his boss. The book is very absorbing
  and full of surprises . I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one, I hope it comes out soon.
• This is a new author for me and after having read this book, I know I want to discover other books by her.
  Jordan is totally adorable with his way of being unknown to his true self. Duncan is kind of blind to the fact he has a mate right under his nosetip. The twins...oh hell you are so going to love them to death. Im eager to read the next book in this series.
• That was a fantastic book! It has all the shifters whether they were fighting or arguing or loving. It had everything that I liked in that book. And you, Giovanna, have made a reader for life! Thank you!

• How do I love author Allison Brennan? Let me count the ways. I’ve read about 40 of her books!! 😳
  
  The latest is a novella in her Lucy Kincaid series called STORM WARNING.
  
  In a nutshell, even before the Lucy Kincaid series, there were several smaller series and some standalones that introduced us to the Kincaid family - a bunch of siblings with various careers in law enforcement and other continuing characters. Lucy was a teenager then. After a personal horror, she became an FBI agent and got her own series. I’ve loved every single book in these series and pretty much every character.
  
  This novella which is a prequel to the next full-length installment due out at the end of the month (forever) is about another family...of criminals that Lucy and partner Nate have to catch after a jail transport breakout, kidnapping and bank heist.

• This novella packs the punch of a full size story. Has it all. Thrills, suspense, and an emotional story.
  
  The FBI has been asked to help in transporting a recently captured FBI Most wanted bank robber Samuel Trembly. Typically this would be an easy assignment for Agent Lucy Kincaid and her colleague Nate but its in the midst of a bad storm that is causing flooding all over Texas. Combine this with an unexpected additional prisoner added to their transfer who may be in cahoots with Samuel things go to hell in a handbasket pretty quick.
  
  The suspense racks up from here and doesn't let up till the last page.
• This Lucy Kincaid short novel grabs the reader from the beginning and never lets up. The plot is excellent and the reader is engaged from beginning to end. I cannot wait for the next Lucy Kincaid novel!
• Allison Brennan once again weaves an intricate story with characters that leap off the page. One dysfunctional family hell-bent on crime, greed, by dishonest means and robbing banks. It's up to Lucy Kincaid and her team from the FBI to stop them before things go south. Solid read.
• This novella includes many of the characters, conflicts and suspense that we expect in a full-length novel from Allison Brennan. There is non-stop action throughout. It sets the stage for the upcoming novel in the Lucy Kincaid series that will be released at the end of the month.
• Not sure about why this novella was needed, I'm guessing to lay some of the background going forward maybe for Nate? Still it has all the elements that make this series great. Just makes you want the next one sooner
• Thinking the correct name for the series should be called Kincaid/Rogan Novels. I was hoping since this was a shorter story that this would finally be the case that Lucy solved on her own.
• Such a great way to lead into the next full novel. Fast paced, full of suspense, and a good look at what has been going on with Lucy, Sean, and family.
